With dual board certifications in endocrinology, diabetes, metabolism, and internal medicine, Dr. Smith brings a wealth of expertise and experience to her practice. Her journey in medicine began at the University of Missouri Kansas City, where she completed both her undergraduate and medical degrees with distinction.
During her residency, Dr. Smith’s exceptional dedication and leadership were recognized when she was awarded Chief Resident of her class.
A Trailblazer in Endocrinology
Following her residency, Dr. Smith pursued a fellowship at the prestigious Harold Hamm Diabetes Center in Oklahoma City.
Here, she worked on a dozen major clinical trials focused on advancing diabetes care, establishing herself as a trailblazer in the field.
Dr. Smith’s innovative research and forward-thinking approach have earned her widespread recognition, including being featured in the Top Doctor List of 2022 by 405 Magazine.
