Helps maintain balanced blood sugar levels which can also help promote weight loss

Clinical Applications

  • Provides Key Nutrients for Blood Sugar Regulation (can assist with insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, and diabetes)
  • Helps Maintain Healthy Blood Sugar Levels (can assist with hypoglycemia)
  • Balances Blood Sugar and Insulin Levels which Regulates Energy Production (can assist with fatigue and weight loss)
  • Supports Normal Cellular Metabolism

Recent studies also show that 93% of Americans are metabolically unhealthy, and a large majority of this is due to insulin resistance. Maintaining healthy blood sugar (glucose) levels can often pose a challenge because, on average, Americans spend 21 hours a day being sedentary.1 Additionally, we consume foods that are highly processed, refined, and contain excessive levels of sugar.2 Combining these lifestyle practices with genetic predisposition and high stress patterns make it very difficult to maintain adequate blood sugar levels.

Healthy blood sugar regulation is a complex process that requires a number of metabolic factors working at optimal capacity. Part of this process includes a balance between glucagon and insulin, which are hormones secreted by the pancreas. If blood glucose levels fall (which occurs due to stress or lack of food intake for an extended period of time), pancreatic alpha cells secrete glucagon, a hormone that triggers the release of stored glucose (glycogen) from the liver and skeletal muscles for energy. Conversely, when blood sugar levels are elevated, beta cells in the pancreas secrete insulin. Insulin causes liver cells, muscle cells and fat cells to take up glucose from the bloodstream and store this as energy. Over time, too much insulin can be secreted due to unhealthy lifestyle choices leading to insulin resistance and weight gain. The delicate balance of blood sugar and insulin levels are crucial for regulating the body’s production of energy. Micronutrients such as chromium and biotin are required to support enzymatic reactions and cellular signaling systems that maintain the body’s homeostasis.

Insulin Impact is a natural and synergistic formula for maintaining balanced blood sugar. Through enhanced signaling at the cellular level, the blend of natural extracts and vitamins in Insulin Impact support healthy blood glucose levels. It contains:

Alpha lipoic acid (ALA), which is a nutrient required for cellular metabolism, specifically the breakdown of carbohydrates and fatty acids.3

Cinnamon in the form of Cinnulin® which acts by inhibiting several enzymes that play a role in insulin resistance leading to an increase in insulin sensitivity.4,5

Chromium which is a part of the molecule glucose tolerance factor (GTF). GTF is a complex crucial for the uptake of glucose into the cells.6,7 Studies using 1000 mcg/day of chromium have demonstrated this helps maintain healthy blood sugar balance, insulin sensitivity and blood lipids.8

Biotin which is a B vitamin that plays a major role in energy production by acting as a coenzyme for carboxylase enzymes involved in the metabolism of fatty acids and amino acids.17,18 Biotin also plays numerous roles in maintaining healthy blood sugar balance by, stimulating insulin secretion, enhancing insulin sensitivity, accelerating glucose metabolism in the liver and pancreas, and increasing the number of insulin secreting beta cells in the pancreas. 11, 12

Vanadyl sulfate (VS) is the stable, inorganic form of vanadium, a mineral shown to mimic the action of insulin. VS causes activation of GLUT4, the insulin regulated glucose transporter, leading to improved insulin sensitivity and decreased glucose production by about 20%.13

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I store my supplements?

Most supplements should be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Are your supplements third-party tested?

Our manufacturer maintains a legacy of good manufacturing practices, instated long before cGMPs became compliance requirements. They stay up-to-date on industry research and testing methods,  and fine-tune their manufacturing  practices accordingly. They own and operate a cGMP, FDA-audited manufacturing and distribution facility here in the United States. The facility is equipped with high-performance HVAC and desiccant control that maintains ideal manufacturing conditions. Their staff are highly trained personnel who share a passion for efficacy. Because they control the entire production process—from formulation, raw material sourcing, and manufacturing, to laboratory testing of incoming materials and finished products, to bottling and labeling—they are free to be perfectionists. Their manufacturing facility is strictly controlled by rigorous standards that  meet cGMPs, and it routinely passes FDA and third-party audits. Extensive testing  on every lot they manufacture means you can trust the consistent purity, strength, identity and composition of each and every product formula.
